Running at 100% CPU
\nI test the pitiful programs I do.
\nRunning in debug mode
\nI try to test my code
\nPraying to God it'll work.
\nBreakpoints and debug prints,
\nSearching for clues and hints,
\nHunting the bugs that still lurk.<\/p>\n

I suffered from over-confidence;
\nThought I could make this work right.
\nWhat I wrote yesterday makes no sense;
\nGod, this'll take the whole night!
\n
\nI turned my head as the deadline drew near,
\nPretended to know just what I'm doing here.
\nHow all my arrogance
\nJoined with incompetence
\nTo drive me to write buggy code?
\nWhy did the memory burst?
\nI should have tested first.
\nGod, it takes ages to load – just to load!<\/p>\n

Everything books didn't teach me,
\nFunctions I couldn't F1 —
\nTest versions torture and leach me
\nAnd I have barely begun — just begun…<\/p>\n

Computer gets stuck when compiling's complete.
\nI press the alt, then control and delete.
\nWhat horrors, how obscene:
\nBlueness engulfs my screen,
\nDeadly and chill as a grave.
\nMy eyes don't dare to blink.
\nI cannot help but think,
\n"Now, did that file really save?" – Did I save?!<\/p>\n

Oh, Bill Gates, curse you to damnation!
\nI know I pressed CTRL+S.
\nEvery bug and alteration —
\nI'll never finish this test, this damned test.<\/p>\n

Reboot and restart and file system loading.
\nI have to spend the entire night coding.
\nWrite the whole thing from scratch –
\nWho cares if versions match?
\nWhatever works I will keep. If it works, it will keep.<\/p>\n

Too much code to debug.
\nNo more coffee in my mug.
\nScrew this. I'm going to sleep — back to sle…<\/p>\n
