In a Dungeon
by Tamir Buchshtav
based on "I am Sailing" by Rod Stuart

In a dungeon, in a dungeon,
Two companions, furry folk.
Armadillo fights for justice,
And a monkey who’s a monk.

Out exploring, out exploring,
Came across a cavern deep,
Armadillo running inwards,
And the monkey up he keeps.

Armadillo, armadillo,
And a monkey, all alone,
Armadillo wearing armor,
And the monkey wields a stone.

Round the corner, round the corner,
Came a mighty dragon’s snore,
Armadillo, sword at ready,
Follows Monkey through the door.

Through the fire, through the fire,
Struck the beast a flying rock,
Armadillo blindly charging,
And the monkey runs amok.

Starts a battle, starts a battle,
The companions run away,
Armadillo madly clanking,
And the monkey, he will say:

“Hear my story, hear my story,
Let the sleeping dragons lie.”
Armadillo took up knitting,
Let the monkey tell you why.

My friends let the dragon, let him lie
My friends let the dragon, let him lie
My friends.
