I have been writing code since before I could speak,
The first thing I remember is learning to click,
So I caught quite a shock when I heard the new shtick,
Microsoft hiring monkeys again.

Well, Bill Gates always was an intelligent guy,
But this seemed rather crazy, and so I asked why,
"It’s the way of the future" that was the reply,
Microsoft hiring monkeys again.

"We'll take one million monkeys and give them typewriters,
Its cheap labor force, our prayers are answered!"
I went down to sit cause I was a bit flustered,
"Statistics will prove that our methods will work!"

“They will work round the clock and they’ll never get tired,
They’ll continue to work after we are retired,
They’ll write all our code so you guys are all fired,
We need office space for the monkeys to work.”

So I left Microsoft and went working for Apple,
And so the big Bill as he started to wobble,
And then came the day that they started to topple,
Microsoft hiring, Microsoft hiring, Microsoft hiring monkeys again!
