In pursuit of our fondest dream,
In pursuit of the wish towards which we aspired,
Aspired…
We have loaded,
All we owned and all we could fund,
In our minds we’ve already began our work,
Dropped from high orbit made landfall began to work,
Now we are here in space, no second thoughts,
We’ve decided,
Decided…
Past, the point of no return,
No backward glances,
The games we’ve played till now are at an end…
Past, all thoughts of turning back,
No way to earth now,
Prepare yourselves and let our dream begin…
What brand new lands shall fill our eyes?
What new horizons fill our lives?
What new adventures lie before us?
Past the point of no return,
The final threshold,
What warm unearthly sunshine shall we gain?
Beyond the point of no return.
Colonists:
You have brought us,
To that moment where words run dry,
To that moment where speech disappears into silence,
Silence…
We have come here,
Hardly caring what world we find,
In our minds we’ve already imagined,
Our colony thriving, our children all growing,
And now we are here at last,
No second thoughts,
