I've developed an intensly negative reaction to the "Go-Play-With-Fairies" brand of filk. I mean, I'll enjoy the songs as much as the next person, but I dislike the worldview they portray - "We don't belong, we should run away someplace where we'll be happy". It's annoyingly irresponsible.
Besides, I quite like the idea of growing up.
